See agenda below
This APEC Policy Dialogue aims to enhance understanding of prophylactic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and their role in routine immunization; showcase successful implementation of mAbs into immunization programs; and spotlight the prevention of RSV in infants as a case study.
Building on the 1st APEC Policy Dialogue (Sep 2024), this 2nd APEC Policy Dialogue will highlight the specific models, activities, and strategies necessary for the successful introduction and scale-up of prophylactic mAbs.
Your participation will enrich discussions and contribute to actionable recommendations for member economies on issues such as:
Access models to enable high coverage rates and sustainable access for prophylactic mAbs with case studies, such as Australia, Chile, the United States, France, Germany, and Spain
Multistakeholder activities to prepare for launch of prophylactic mAbs, such as aligning on clinical guidelines for use by medical associations, regulators, and policymakers
Strategies for implementation, such as management of adverse event reporting, collection and use of real-world evidence, and training of healthcare professionals
