Webinar 1: Innovative Immunization Solutions to Achieve Universal Health Coverage & Improve Health System Resilience

On 10 September 2024, Chile and the United States co-hosted an APEC policy dialogue on “Innovative Immunization Solutions to Achieve Universal Health Coverage & Improve Health System Resilience.” The dialogue is the first of two hybrid meetings to be held as part of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Health Working Group (HWG) project HWG_06_2024S.

Prophylactic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) can provide protection against infectious diseases, such as Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in infants but are not yet widely utilized. This session aimed to address this gap by reviewing existing mAbs and how they can be implemented as innovative immunization solutions to improve health system resilience and impact.

A full summary of the dialogue is available on our website. Slides from the presentations may be found here.
